Alfredo Silva 

A passionate educator, advocate, and innovator with over 20 years of experience in education. Currently serving as a Teacher on Special Assignment for the Office of 7-12 Instruction in the Garden Grove Unified School District, Alfredo is also on the Pulitzer Center's Information and Artificial Intelligence Teacher Advisory Council, and the host of the Teach4Justice Podcast.                                                                                                                             


Adam Juarez and Katherine Goyette 

Educational coaches, authors, and content creators who have been supporting educators for over a decade. Beginning their journeys as classroom educators, their approach builds upon the strength and experience of educators, leveraging neuroscience learning principles. They recently authored the book History Matters in An AI Era: Interdisciplinary Approaches for K-8.

                                                        


Dr. Jennifer Elemen

Serves on the Center for Leadership, Equity, and Research (CLEAR) AI Initiative (CAI); California Department of Education's AI in Education Workgroup; the Media Literacy Coalition; and is immediate past president of the California Council for the Social Studies. She will provide an overview of the AI Justice Project Toolkit, a new resource for teachers to design civic learning for AI justice and students to earn their State Seal of Civic Engagement.
